We all know that one woman, that as soon as you meet them you want to be best friends with them forever, well that was this beauty. I love her amazing personality! I am so glad that she chose me to capture her portraits!
What made you choose to do a session with me?
“I chose to do a boudoir session because I had been in pure "mom-mode" for so long -- a baby one year and then deployed husband the next. I wanted something to remind myself that I was beautiful (and wake up that sexiness in time for hubby's return home!).”
What were you nervous about going into your session?
“I am a generally pretty shy about my body. Even three years of dorm roommates never saw me get undressed. I hoped I wouldn't be too awkward or embarrassed showing off my bra and panty (and more!) to get good photos.”
Did your fears ease after the shoot began?
“Almost immediately! As soon as I saw my hair and makeup done, I thought, "Hot damn! This is going to be great!" Candace told me exactly how to pose, so I didn't feel awkward not knowing how to "model." She made me feel like I was a model!”
What was your favorite part of the experience?
“The reveal! The photoshoot itself ended up being a lot of fun and I left feeling empowered, but then seeing the gorgeous results -- I was speechless! I must have said, "That's really me!" a dozen times.”
How do you feel now that you've completed the session?
“I am so glad that I went through with this! Maybe it is silly, but I have found myself waking up a bit earlier so I can do makeup and reaching for the sexy underwear just because. The best though is this sexy confidence! Mom-mode doesn't have to mean bland!”
Would you recommend this experience?
“Absolutely, and already have!! I keep opening the album preview on my phone to look at the photos - not in a vain way, but just because I am still processing that it really is me!”
