"When I first joined your group I knew I wanted to do boudoir photos, but wanted to drop 30-50lbs before doing so. Then I came to your 30th Birthday Bash and received a free 30 minute session, I realized when I got home it had an expiration, so I told myself to go ahead and set a date to do the photos, no matter the shape I was in.
Coming into the studio I was nervous to be wearing lingerie that exposed all my flaws (or that I feel are flaws). I was fearful these flaws would show in my pictures and I'd hate the way I looked even more.
As we began the shoot Candace was very reassuring to help me get used to the poses, relax, and most of all, have fun and enjoy what I was doing for my husband and myself. It was the most amazing experience I've had doing something for myself to gain confidence in myself.
I had so many favorite parts. Changing into different outfits, feeling great in what I was, or wasn't wearing ;) and as we were going through the shoots Candace's reassurance and excitement with the way the pictures were turning out. I even caught a few sneaks of them as she was shooting and thought to myself "MAN I LOOK GOOD!!!" I left on a high knowing I did something so uplifting to my self esteem. At my reveal seeing the slideshow of all the photos taken, I wanted to cry. I've never pictured myself as beautiful looking at my flaws. My husband even said " do you see and feel how beautiful and sexy you are in these pictures? I feel that way times a million!" He wanted every single one!
For anyone who is debating on doing photos for themselves, significant other-DO IT!! I made every excuse I could until I had a deadline and had to just do it. Stop make excuses, do it now! Love the body you're in now! I plan on doing another shoot once I meet my goal, and the husband and I want to do a couples shoot together once we both reach our goals!" Mrs. F
