Hi, I’m Candace —owner of Candace Gurley Photography and your personal hype woman behind the lens.

I’ve specialized in boudoir for 9 years, and this is the only genre I shoot year-round, 365 days a year. Not weddings. Not families. Not trends. Just this. Why? Because this isn’t just photography to me — it’s transformation. It’s confidence reclamation. It’s empowerment in its most raw, beautiful form. It’s watching a woman walk in doubting herself and walk out remembering exactly who she is.

Boudoir is personal for me because I know what it feels like to struggle with self-image. I know the inner critic. I know the “not enough” story. WHAT EXACTLY IS BOUDOIR?

To most people, boudoir means sexy, seductive photos of women in lingerie, or little to no clothing. The truth is, boudoir is a celebration of sensual beauty, which is hugely different for each woman on a personal level. I will talk with you about what makes YOU feel beautiful, and I'll customize your experience to bring that out in your photos. To some women, that WILL mean lingerie, but to others, it will mean knee high socks, bikini panties, and a tank top, and that's TOTALLY ok! So the answer is, boudoir is YOU, in your most beautiful state of mind and body. IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY JOINED OUR PRIVATE VIP GROUP ON FACEBOOK, I HIGHLY SUGGEST THAT YOU DO!

  • DON'T BE! Every image that you've seen of mine has been posed and directed by me! I tell you exactly where to put your hands, when to look at the camera, when to breathe and show you how to arch. If you can follow simple directions, you CAN do this. I show you along the way so you don't feel "silly" in the poses and I promise to be your biggest hype girl, xoxo

  • Yes, you absolutely should! None of the women on my site are models, they are all real women who wanted pictures just like you. They all come in with their own set of flaws and insecurities. They have had hair and make-up done, great lighting and posing. I will show you the beautiful sides of yourself and capture it in gorgeous pictures for you to cherish long after our session. I am happy not all my clients look the same. I love how we are all beautiful in our own way!

  • That's the fun and exciting and SCARY part for some...but don't worry! I have a HUGE client closet filled with over 250 pieces from sizes XS-4X. I'll pull some pieces for you to try on the day based off your questionnaire.

    • We recommend bringing THREE of your favorite outfits, a pair of heels, and any props/jewelry you'd like to incorporate! Bring outfits and clothing that makes you FEEL sexy, not what you think is sexy. Don't go out and buy lingerie that doesn't make you feel comfortable or is to over the top for you. If you aren't comfortable in it, it will show in your images and your body language during your shoot.

    • Simple but sexy ideas to bring: fall-off-the shoulder tops, soft sweaters, simple black and white bra/panties.

    • Accessories or layer items: Sheer robe, stockings/thigh highs, over-the-knee socks, sexy heels, and subtle jewelry. (These are only ideas, if you do not wear heels or jewelry, you do not need them for your session.)

    • Bring as many clothing options as you like, we will work together to narrow them down into 2-5 outfits.

  • Absolutely NOT! I'd never want you to do something you don't want to do. This is why I'll send over a questionnaire once you book in to get to know you and what you're comfortable with during your session. If at any time you'd like to change your mind and do white sheets (where you are naked and the sheet is covering you) or fully nude, tasteful shots, that is 100% your decision.

  • Absolutely! I only share photos with a signed release from each client, so you can trust that your booty is safe with me:) You have several choices of how your images are shared, if at all.

  • Item descriptionAbsolutely! I work with women of all shapes, sizes, ages (21+), and walks of life.

    One of the most common things I hear is: “I need to lose a few pounds before booking.” To that I say: No way! This experience is not about being thinner—it’s about celebrating you exactly as you are right now.

    Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and seen. No matter your body type, I’ll pose and guide you in ways that highlight your unique beauty—and I promise, you’ll love what you see. 💕

I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING SEXY TO WEAR. Do you provide outfits?

GIRL, I've got you covered (or actually uncovered lol).

A Boudoir Shoot does not require you to go and buy a whole new closet full of lingerie. For starters I have a fully stocked Lingerie Closet for you to pick from with sizes small-3x. However, Boudoir is not about reinventing yourself or having to wear anything you don't feel comfortable in. While it can be a good excuse to buy some new bras or panties, my favorite way to photograph women is in their favorite everyday outfit.

IMAGINE: Your favorite leather jacket with just a bra underneath. A cozy sweater pulled up to reveal lacy undies. Your photos should reflect exactly who you are, and part of who you are is what you like to wear and feel comfortable in.

Every Unapologetically You session includes professional guidance, a private, safe studio, expert posing, and custom artwork to preserve this chapter of your life. With a 2.5-3-hour session, you'll enjoy professional hair & makeup styling, plus 3 outfit changes, allowing you to explore different sides of yourself — playful, powerful, or professional. With access to our curated client closet and versatile studio sets, we’ll capture a wide variety of moods, ensuring your collection feels authentic and uniquely you. In our private Vancleave, MS studio, you’ll feel safe to explore boldness, softness, or professionalism — whatever your vision calls for.

Specialty sets are available as optional upgrades, adding a bold or creative touch to your experience.

A $299 retainer is required to secure your date.

A minimum artwork investment of $699 is required. Most clients invest between $1500 and $3,600 in their custom artwork.

Whether this is your very first session or your fiftieth, my goal is simple: to make you feel completely at ease. Because at the end of the day, this experience is about one thing — YOU feeling incredible about yourself.

Step 1: Get Pampered Like a Star

When you arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to chat and get you comfortable before the fun begins. Your Unapologetically You Experience includes professional hair & makeup styling, with my trusted artists who know exactly how to enhance your natural beauty for the camera.

Step 2: Curate Your Perfect Wardrobe

Bring 2–6 outfits depending on your collection. We’ll usually shoot 2–4 looks, starting with the one that makes you feel the most confident. You’ll also have access to my client closet of 200+ outfits in sizes S–4X, ranging from bodysuits and bustiers to luxury robes and statement sets.

Step 3: It’s Your Time to Shine ✨

No experience? No problem! I’ll coach you through every single pose, down to your fingertips. I’ll even show you previews on the back of the camera so you can see how incredible you look throughout the session.

Step 4: Specialty Sets (Optional Upgrade)

Want to spice things up even more? Specialty sets like the Wet Set, Bondage Set, Gray Angel Wings, Tub Set, and more can be added to your Unapologetically You Experience for $125 each (or 2 for $230).

Step 5: Reveal and Ordering Appointment + Delivery Timeline

Approximately 7-14 days after your session, you’ll be scheduled for your online skype/zoom Reveal & ordering appointment. This is where you’ll view and purchase your images! I’ll help you choose your favorite photos and help you pick out what art pieces and collection you’ll want to purchase.

Albums → Delivered within 5 weeks after design approval.
