Boudoir Experience Session

Whether you're celebrating a personal milestone (such as reaching a fitness goal or upcoming birthday) or glamming it up for a sexy gift for your significant other- a Boudoir Experience Session will make you feel amazing, gorgeous and utterly divine. No matter your reason for coming to see me, you will walk away empowered, reinvigorated, liberated with a new sense of self acceptance and self-love.

Let me tell you a little bit about the experience. What to Expect When You Book with Candace Gurley Photography

The nervous excitement is real—What should you wear? What will the studio be like? Will it even be fun?

We are here to guide you every step of the way. Whether it’s your first photo shoot or your fiftieth, our goal is to make you feel completely at ease. Because at the end of the day, this experience is about one thing: you feeling incredible about yourself.

Here’s how your Boudoir Experience Session will unfold:

Step 1: Get Pampered Like a Star

When you arrive, we’ll take a few minutes to chat and get you comfortable before introducing you to our incredible makeup artist. You’ll settle into the makeup chair and enjoy a full glam session while talking through the look you’re envisioning. This is a fully interactive experience—ask questions, give input, and truly enjoy being the star of the day! Hair and makeup takes about an hour and a half, giving you time to relax and settle into the excitement of your session.

Step 2: Curate Your Perfect Wardrobe

Once you're feeling (and looking) fabulous, it’s time to dive into wardrobe selection! We recommend bringing 3-6 outfit options (we typically shoot 3-4 outfits). Don’t worry—if you need extra options, I’ll pull from our expansive Client Closet stocked with over 200 pieces in sizes S-4X. From bodysuits and bustiers to robes and two-piece sets, we have a wide variety of styles to match your vibe.

Step 3: It's Your Time to Shine

We’ll start with the outfit you feel most confident in and work through the others at your own pace. Feeling nervous about posing? Don’t stress! I’ll coach you through every pose and expression, right down to your fingertips—and show you photos along the way so you can see how amazing you’re doing!

Step 4: Explore Product Options

Right after your session, I’ll show you a range of beautiful product samples so you can start imagining how you’ll display your stunning portraits. We’ll also schedule your online reveal and ordering appointment for about 5–14 days later, giving you time to get even more excited!

Step 5: The Big Reveal

At your reveal appointment, we’ll start with a gorgeous slideshow featuring 80–120 of your best, fully retouched images. (Be warned: you might want waterproof mascara—this can be emotional!) We’ll sort through your favorites together and design your custom heirloom album or wall art. If you're thinking about decorating a special space, send me photos of the room ahead of time to make planning even easier—bathrooms, bedrooms, closets, you name it!

Step 6: Delivery Day

Once your order is finalized and your payment is complete, your gorgeous products will arrive within 3–5 weeks—just in time for your special occasion or personal celebration!

Design Your Dream Shoot

The boudoir experience is not complete without amazing art pieces to display your gorgeous images in. We have partnered with the most high end print labs in North America to make sure that CGP beauties get nothing but the best, highest quality products out there. I have hand selected each product to insure you have heirloom quality products to last lifetimes. YOU will get to hand select your photos and choose the products that are right for you!

Heirloom Box

Our Heirloom boxes are made to last for generations, you have the choice of the wooden or glass box to display your portraits in. The hand-crafted wood photo box is the perfect touch to display your signature 5x7 luxury prints. The glass heirloom box is created using single pane glass and hammered copper, gold, or silver these 5×7 boxes are reminiscent of retro jewelry holders. You can store your favorite 30, 60 or your full gallery of prints in this unique wooden photo box that is made to last for generations. Each of your 5x7 images are created on vivid archival professional printing paper. Our luxurious heirloom box makes a great choice for any client, as a way to keep these memories close by.
