Our custom studio is located in Vancleave, MS 39565, featuring beautiful natural light, warm wood floors, textured walls, and hand-selected décor — it’s designed to make you feel confident and radiant the moment you walk in.

Travel sessions are available with an additional travel fee.

Boudoir Experience Session

Whether you're celebrating a personal milestone (like a fitness goal or birthday) or creating a gorgeous gift for your partner, a Boudoir Experience Session will make you feel amazing, confident, and utterly divine. No matter your reason for stepping in front of my camera, you’ll walk away empowered, reinvigorated, and embracing a new level of self-acceptance and self-love.

What to Expect When You Book with Candace Gurley Photography

The nervous excitement is real—What should you wear? What will the studio be like? Will it even be fun? Breathe. I’ll guide you every step of the way. Whether it’s your first session or your fiftieth, my goal is to make you feel completely at ease. Because at the end of the day, this experience is about one thing: you feeling incredible about yourself.

Step 1: Get Pampered Like a Star

Depending on your package, when you arrive we’ll take a few minutes to chat and settle in before introducing you to one of our amazing makeup artists. You’ll enjoy a full glam session while we talk through the look you’re envisioning. This is your time to relax, give input, and feel like the star of the day. (Hair + makeup takes about 1 hour.)

If your package doesn’t include hair and makeup, you’re welcome to come photo-ready with your own glam. Either way, we’ll make sure you feel confident and beautiful before stepping in front of the camera.

Step 2: Curate Your Perfect Wardrobe

Once you’re glowing, it’s time for wardrobe selection! Bring 3–6 outfits (we typically shoot 2–4). Need more? You’ll have access to our Client Closet of 100+ lingerie pieces (sizes S–4X) with bodysuits, bustiers, robes, and more. Together, we’ll pick the looks that best fit your vibe.

Step 3: It’s Your Time to Shine

We’ll start with the outfit you feel most confident in and flow through the rest. Nervous about posing? Don’t worry—I’ll coach you through every pose and expression, right down to your fingertips. I’ll even show you the back of the camera along the way so you can see just how amazing you look!

Step 4: View Your Images

About 5–7 days after your shoot, you’ll receive a private online gallery (lightly edited for selection) with your stunning images to browse. From there, you’ll choose your favorites for your final gallery and decide whether you would like to upgrade your experience with albums, wall art, heirloom boxes, or boutique keepsakes.

Step 5: Design Your Dream Products

Albums, wall art, folio boxes—you’ll have access to heirloom-quality pieces that preserve your portraits beautifully. I’ll guide you with custom design assistance so your final products feel perfectly you.

Step 6: Delivery Day

Final Images: Delivered 3–5 days after you’ve made your selections, via your very own private online gallery with print release

Albums (Legacy Collection): Delivered within 3–5 weeks after design approval

Design Your Dream Shoot

You are COMPLETELY normal! 🙂 Almost every woman says this before their session. Here’s the truth: you don’t have to know what to do—that’s my job! I’ll coach you through every pose, expression, and movement, right down to your fingertips. Most clients leave saying, “I can’t believe how comfortable and confident I felt!”
Nope! Boudoir isn’t just about lingerie—it’s about feeling amazing in whatever makes you feel confident. Some women choose lingerie, while others rock cozy sweaters, bodysuits, dresses, or even just a sheet. We also offer portraits, headshots, and branding sessions, so you can totally mix and match your looks for a little bit of both!
You’re welcome to bring pieces from home, or borrow from my Client Closet of 100+ outfits (sizes S–4X). The only rule: if you feel good in it, it will photograph beautifully.
Absolutely! I work with women of all shapes, sizes, ages (21+), and walks of life.
One of the most common things I hear is: “I need to lose a few pounds before booking.” To that I say: No way! This experience is not about being thinner—it’s about celebrating you exactly as you are right now.
Every woman deserves to feel beautiful, confident, and seen. No matter your body type, I’ll pose and guide you in ways that highlight your unique beauty—and I promise, you’ll love what you see. 💕

100%. Your comfort and trust mean everything to me. Your images will never be shared without your written permission. Most clients keep their photos completely private, while others proudly give me the “green light” to share a few favorites. Either way—it’s always your choice. You have several choices of how your images are shared, if at all.
I lightly retouch each image. I remove blemishes and bruising. That is the extent of my editing since my brand is all about the real beauty of all women and not changing who you are. If you have scarring or stretch marks, I leave those in since they are a permanent part of your body, we just don't have to focus all the pictures on those if you don't like them. I do not do any body reshaping in Photoshop. Part of my job is to find the most flattering pose for each of my clients for all shape and sizes. I want every woman to receive their images and have full confidence that who they are is what is reflected in that image, and not someone who had their body manipulated in Photoshop. Several of my clients have felt nervous about this, and in the end, appreciated that the beautiful photos they received, were actually pictures of themselves. I do take specific requests from my clients, so do not hesitate to discuss any issue with me.
Absolutely! This photo session is about you, your body and what makes you feel sexy, sensual and beautiful. Many women go topless or completely naked. It is up to you! The white sheets "outfit" is a great way to do implied nude without seeing all the goodies. If you feel comfortable enough in the end and you want to do some nudes, we can certainly do that, but it's not required at all.
